Backed by Harvard, and backed by me: buy yourself the flowers.

Maybe I was in a yellow mood, or maybe it’s the Leo in me lately. Either way, I love how this arrangement turned out & I’m here to tell you why Harvard & I think you should buy yourself the flowers to!

These came from my local Trader Joe’s:

  • 10-stem Tulip bunch – $6.99
  • 1 bunch of Chrysanthemums – $4.99
  • 1 bunch of Chamomile (Matricaria) – $4.99

Total? $16.97.
Vibe? Priceless.

It’s true what “they” say… well, what Mel Robbins says, referencing Harvard Medical School research: fresh flowers in your home can lift your mood, ease anxiety, and support your mental well-being.

I couldn’t agree more, there’s really something about fresh flowers that shifts an entire space.

my dinning room was glowing 🌞✨

& even more so.. for me, it’s the creative aspect of it all. Picking out the flowers, cleaning up the leaves, trimming ends, and rearranging for the hundredth time. I get completely lost in it. Knowing the goal isn’t to create the perfect arrangement..

Just one that feels right. Creating something that puts a smile on your face every time you pass by. It’s an act of self-love that continues to lift your mood, ease anxieties, and promote positive wellbeing.

So here’s your reminder: backed by Harvard, and backed by me: Buy yourself the flowers!
